Have you ever just stopped and thought about something? Mulled it around and around in your head until you have come up with some conclusion, or until it leaves your mind to be thought of again at a later date? Or maybe something is just so wonderful that it's a pleasure to reflect on, and it produces happy smiles and joy!
I do!
And lately I have been thinking about friends (maybe I'll do some more posts on other thought-provoking thoughts:) I read this quote and realized how true it really is;
"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." - George Washington
I am so grateful to God for the friends that He has given me! They spur me on, they challenge me in my walk with God. They push me to the next level. They let me talk their ear off. They write me sweet notes. They love me for who I really am. They choose to see the good instead of focusing on the bad. They share from their own life what God is teaching them.
It caused me to think "what kind of friend am I?" Am I impacting those in my life for God's glory? Or am I using them to accomplish my own purposes?
So ask yourself the question "What kind of friend are you?" And thank God for the friends that He has placed in your life...they are a treasure!
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Prov. 27:17

First, I like the new design :-). Second, I am so very grateful for the friends and friendships in my life. Even on my worst days, knowing I have someone I can talk to makes it better. Knowing they can rely on me is a blessing too.
Yep, I agree with you 100%! I have the best friends in the world, and one special one in particular:):)
Thank you friend for the blessing you are!
