Do you know about Jesus...

that is the theme song for this year at 5-day club. Esther, Anna Baltensperger and I have decided we could sing that song in our sleep! For those of you who didn't know, Esther and I were gone this past week teaching clubs in Johnson, NE with Anna B. We taught 5 clubs every day, and all of them but 1 were at Day cares. It is such a privilege to be able to teach little kids, some of which don't even know who Jesus is, about God!

Throughout the week one of the songs we focused on was "Work on Your Attitudes". It is a fun, joyful song with actions. After singing it, we would challenged the kids to try and purposefully change their attitudes that same day. When we asked how many had worked on their attitudes the next day, many of the children told of specific examples of how they worked on the attitudes the day before! Even the teacher told us that she had noticed a difference!
Some highlight of the week were;

~9 children accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour!

~ 3 children were assured of their salvation

~ We were able to witness firsthand a calf being pulled at the Baltensperger farm

~We met Anna's special guy, Kenny Pyle (I was so sad ..I forgot to get a picture)

~ One of the hostesses gave us some money and a coupon, so we got to go out to Subway for lunch a couple times: )

~We took home some fresh cherries that we had picked and pitted ourselves from the B's cherry tree.

~Listening to the preschoolers say John 3:16 by themselves at the end of the week

~Watching the kids interact with "Daisy" our puppet, was so fun, they loved her so much!~My little niece Elise was born, that was definitely a highlight! To see more pictures of her click Here

you have ordained praise."

Hey Anna ... I did clubs with Anna the last 2 years, and -- I've been to that same Subway, and that same daycare with the yellow walls (such cute kids!) ... and is that the Ensor's too? :)

Looks like a good week, and definitely a highlight with Elise being born :)

Looks like quite a full week Pippi! But with no end of fun I'm sure!;) We helped Anna with clubs several years ago and it was great fun.
So wish you had gotten a picture of Anna's special guy! At least now I know his name...before he was just "Anna's guy".;)

Sounds like a wonderful week!!
Anna's guy is really, really nice. He's from our homeschool group here in KS and one of Seth's really good friends, we have known their family for forever. He and Anna are very sweet together!!
It was good to see you today Anna, and really fun to play volleyball- you were great!! Thanks for having us all out there! I'm sure Dan will never forget his goodbye party!!

See ya,

While I was done in KS, the Elizabeth helped me put a face to "Anna's guy". I guess I've played vollyball with him before. He was really nice from what I remember. Glad you had a good week!
