Anna

Happy 20th Birthday Anna!

I am sure that most of you were thinking "Wow, Anna is wishing herself a happy birthday, and you were probably not that surprised. Because that's the Anna we know, and love! But I have good news... she is becoming more Christ-like, and learning to not talk herself up to high. So this is actually Esther reporting. *Smile* Okay... now on a more serious note!

Where does one begin when trying to describe what Anna means to them? This is not an easy task! Anna is my best friend, my favorite sister, my inspiration, my encourager, and my biggest fan! She is one of the few people who can make me laugh at any given moment! She is a great example of someone who gives God everything in every situation! When she went to VA for 2 months... it was hard for me to survive!  I did not have my best friend there to tell me what to do, or that I was doing just fine. I am not a skilled writer like Anna, so it is hard for me to put into words how much you mean to me!

I love you so much Anna!
(I tried to pick pictures that I think capture MY Anna! I love this one it is so her!)

When people ask me how I can survive with 7 brothers? I always tell them I love having that many brothers! I could not imagine my life without each one. But I think that the reason I can survive with so many brothers, and not hate them is because there is Anna. We have each other. I have MY Anna!

So Anna has been doing random facts for birthdays, so here are Anna's 20 random facts:

Broke her leg when she was 5 months
Love language: Gifts, and Words of affirmation
She really wants a Pink Motorcycle
          Makes super good cheesecakes
Was named after her late Grandma Wittmann

 She greatly enjoys writing
Has to sleep with a little pillow at night
Has taught with CEF for almost 7 years
Went through a tree on a dirt bike
           Is the favorite sister

Has a great desire to go to Haiti and work in an orphanage                                                    Can sew pretty much anything without a pattern
Has lead over a dozen children to the Lord
                          Can really "dish" it out
 Spiritual Gift: Service

Has hundreds of books
Views creating conversation as a fun challenge, and is good at it
Loves to pick out cool ties for guys
 Knows how to swing dance
Totally lives out her life verse (on bottom of post)

Now for her birthday I would like each of you to leave a comment and share something you appreciate about Anna, or a funny story, a memory, or something like that! :)

"I say to myself, the Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him."

I don't know Anna as well as I'd like to, but I know her cheerful smile makes ME smile every time I see her. I also love that, even though we aren't really close friends, she gives me a hug whenever we run into each other. Really makes my day. Happy birthday, Anna!

I love talking sewing with you! =)
And the funny memory that I'm thinking of right now is when we were in the basement at work and I would just look at you and you'd bust out laughing! You couldn't even take a drink of your coffee!
Love you muchly!
Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday, Anna!

I recently just found your blog through your sister-in-law (Bethany)'s blog, although I've been reading about all your contributions in the Wismann's productions for years!

Esther's post was so touching and sweet that I had to come and introduce myself instead of being one of those "silent readers" that everyone hates. ;)

Keep living for Christ and focus on Him only- 20 can seem like the "old spinster" state has arrived, but don't believe that lie for a moment. You're perfectly beautiful in God's Eyes and He has your story completely written out to ever detail, moment, and second. He has great plans for you as you serve Him.

Keep up the fight!
Blessings,
Miss Toria

First of all Esther, when you said "now on a more serious note", it kind of made me stop because I thought you were being serious already. "lol" And secondly, what a sweet sister you are!! Don't tell Anna this, but that is probably why she is so sweet too!

Anna!! Happy Birthday! hmmmm, memories...All you did was play dolls while I wanted to go outside, Feild and Stream games, Princess stories while taking naps, we started being friends, crazy car rides to 5-day-clubs with Ben and Joe, Running at 6:00 in the morning, violin- dog hair- calvin and hobbs, capture the flag, more capture the flag, talking, making fun of eachother, bumping into one another, more talking, laughing, cool stomp-clap thing, vollyball - as long as it isn't on the same team, setting up and tearing down for baby showers - weddings- parties..., picking up your room, cooking together, And tons more. Love you and miss you ;) oh, and tons of smiles!!
Happy Birthday

Running through the pouring rain in Harpers Ferry, WV...

eating PINKBERRY! in Washington, DC...

Rummaging through piles and piles of books to find the jewels --and getting them for quarters and dimes...

taking pictures...

baking melt-in-your-mouth molasses cookies (and eating waaaaay too many!!)...

talking about how amazing Dan Beasley is (as well as your other siblings... ;)

going crazy over the coolest beads for bracelets...

practicing our volleyball spikes w/ Katy and Kristina...

Dear Anna,

Never commented on your blog (I found your blog through the Wissmann’s, I think).
But I just want to say Happy Belated Birthday in the Lord! Though I never met you, I can tell (by reading other posts), that you joyfully serve other people around you! I wish I had a friend like you! I also envy your skill with the sewing machine. :)
